:: Frequencies v.1 :: The first in a new series designed to showcase the stratosphere of dance music evolution.
:: Xhin (Meerestief Germany, SG) :: Xhin (pronounced as "Sheen") has been exploding techno and electronic grooves since 1997. A Singaporean by birth and residence, he independently released "Xycle", a self-promotional ep that made the industry to stand up to take notice, in early 2003. He then followed with his debut album, "Supersonicstate" the following year. Well received by listeners, tracks from the album were played regularly on local alternative radio station immediately after the release.
This year has seen him on a very busy schedule, making more releases and remixing for his home label Meerestief and various labels, and gigs in Europe and Asia to follow.
:: Lawrence (aka Micromann) ::
Lawrence aka The Micromann. DJ and ardent clubber since 1987 has been a part of our club scene for more than a decade. The nick was given to him by a close friend and DJ partner because of his minimalistic preference in music. On top of countless past gigs, he has held 2 sought after club residencies and co-organized 4 successful installments of FFW>> (Fast Forward) events supporting local DJ ensembles in pushing forward thinking sounds to peak hour dance floors.
The Microman has always believed in collaborations and spins regularly alongside well-known local DJs. He is also host of a long running weekly jam session involving over 5 DJs from diverse backgrounds and culture; converging to a united passion for dance music. Without fixed definitions, his style covers a wide range of House & Techno woven in interesting contrasts; delivered in both traditional and digital platforms.

FREQUENCIES conceptual design promotes the advocacy of quality electronic music through a diverse mixture of cyclic signals coming together, bound, woven and stitched through rotation and oscillation.
A platform to showcase the technological evolution of house and techno via transmitted waves that touch your very senses. Music catering to the fans, the curious and the newcomers. Old school meets new school without prejudice of historical differences. Faculties that possess a thin line defining what is and is not. Digital technology meeting traditional media, creating current trends with rustic sounds fused with classic tracks sounding futuristic made during an enigmatic.
